TWO Eastleigh schoolgirls unwrapped an early Christmas present after coming joint top in an annual art competition.
Nativity scenes coloured in by ten-year-old Danielle Groom and Lauren Chandler, 8, both from Boyatt Wood won the festive competition run by NCH Charity Shop in High Street, Eastleigh.
Both girls were given a teddy bear and a goody pack for budding artists which included pens, stencils and colouring crayons. Shop manageress Judy Barson said: "Lauren's colouring was particularly good for her age but they were both neatly done and very colourful. They were delighted with the presents."
