A police hunt for a Hampshire man who had been missing from his home ended when he turned up safely.
Officers had been becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of the man from Fawley on the Waterside, who had been missing since Thursday.
But today a spokesman for the police said that father-of-two Malcolm George David McIntock has been found.
He had last been seen on December 12 at his home before disappearing in what officers are calling a "distressed state".
The 44-year-old left his address in Heather Road just before 8.45pm without telling anyone where he was going or why.
Officers investigating his disappearance had had "serious concerns for the safety and well-being of Mr McIntock".
His family was too upset to comment.
