TWO members of staff from the Hampshire Centrecourt Hotel, in Chineham, got a taste of live television when they appeared on cult cooking show Ready Steady Cook.
Georgina Hylton, leisure manager, and Simon Orr, assistant leisure manager, joined host Ainsley Harriott and celebrity chefs Lesley Waters and Antony Worrall Thompson for the programme.
The pair travelled to London on November 14 to record the show and had, in their own words, "an absolutely wonderful day".
Although initially nervous, once they forgot the cameras the pair relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They even managed to show their working skills during the programme - Georgina in a warrior yoga pose with Antony, and Simon demonstrating a combat kick with Lesley and Ainsley.
Who won on the day? The result will be revealed when the show is broadcast at 4.30pm on Thursday, January 23.
