A SPECIAL Christmas farmers' produce market will be staged in the maritime village of Hamble next Thursday evening.
The 4-8pm event will feature fresh produce and natural Christmas decorations, including holly door wreaths, table decorations, game, pork, beef and lamb, seafood, fudge, pickles, marmalade, fruit, watercress, beer, honey, plants and eggs.
Village shops, restaurants and pubs are also set to join in the festive spirit and Father Christmas will be at the market and will be joined by carol singers between 6 and 7pm.
There will also be an opportunity to win a Hampshire produce hamper, donated by Southern Farmers' Market Association.
The market will be held in Hamble Square car park between 4-8pm and organisers say free parking will be available all day in Hamble on the foreshore car park.
The Hamble-Warsash river ferry will also be operating until 8.15pm.
