Saints' star striker, James Beattie made his first ever visit to a luxury cruise ship during the three day call to Southampton Docks by the brand new 91,000 ton Norwegian Dawn.
Now the top scorer in the Premier League, James was invited on the latest addition to Norwegian Cruise Line's rapidly growing fleet to tour the ship and to try out the facilities in the vessel's health and fitness centre.
While on board James was given a well deserved treat of a relaxing massage in the spa which features the largest indoor swimming pool on any cruise ship.
James said: "This is the first cruise ship I've ever been on and it's a great experience.
"All the crew are so friendly and it is wonderful to see people from so many nationalities all working together on such a splendid ship.''
Norwegian Dawn, which will, in the future, be permanently based in America, is now in the middle of a transatlantic passage to New York.
