HAMPSHIRE-based Gleeson Classic Homes is celebrating news that it has won one of the industry's most coveted accolades - a Sunday Times What House Award - for 'Best Future House'.

A division of Gleeson Homes, Gleeson Classic Homes in Fleet builds just 30 or so individual, high quality homes across the country each year - many in partnership with smaller, local house builders.

The Award for 'Best Future House' was received for Vizion House - a most unusual and eye-catching project that was designed by award-winning architects, Barber Casanovas Ruffles and developed in partnership with Artisan (UK) Developments. Vizion House was also the runner-up for 'Best Architecture' in the Mercedes Benz Awards.

Julie Frith, sales manager at Gleeson Classic Homes, comments: "The striking exterior of Vizion House is matched only by the striking quality of the build and finish, which make it a completely unique and interesting home. The use of high quality materials such as ash, limestone and granite is complemented by full-length glass windows for maximum use of natural light. We are delighted that, in combination with the exceptional internal specification, have made this an award-winning luxury home."

While Vizion House has won an award for Best Future House, Gleeson Classic Homes has been winning awards across the board since the company was formed little over six years ago.

Working in partnership with local builders as well as developing and building its own homes, Gleeson Classic Homes currently also has developments throughout the south.
