Justin Rose lines up for this week's WGC-EMC World Cup in Mexico with a new partner.
Former Masters and Open champion Nick Faldo was due to play alongside Rose for the pairs event but has had to withdraw with an elbow injury.
Paul Casey has been drafted as Rose's new partner and the 22-year-old Hampshire player is delighted. "I was looking forward to playing with the old master Nick, but Paul is a good mate. We often practise together on the European Tour."
The World Cup event, over 72 holes, has a foursomes/fourball format and Rose's new playing partner has the added advantage of actually competing in this tournament last year.
Rose travelled to Mexico from Florida where he has spent a few days with coach David Leadbetter working on his swing.
The four-times tournament winner from Fleet earned his place in England's two-man World Cup team by finishing as top Englishman in the European Order of Merit.
South Africa, represented by Tim Clark and Rory Sabatini, defend the World Cup trophy, won by Ernie Els and Retief Goosen last year. United States, the inaugural winners, are represented by Phil Michelson and David Toms.
Paul Lawrie and Andrew Oldcorn represent Scotland, Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley, Ireland and Ian Woosnam and Bradley Dredge, Wales.
The event starts on Thursday.
