A Fareham arts centre has turned into a mini Fame Academy for budding young local musicians.
The Ashcroft Arts Centre has been hosting innovative workshops that have given students from Fareham and Gosport the chance to create new music, lyrics and stage set with a professional band.
The Brodsky Quartet has been in residence at St Vincent college in Gosport for a week, working with students on a host of skills including composing for voice and string instruments, music performance techniques, creative writing, and designing programmes and CD covers.
The results of the creative workshops were staged at the Osborn Road centre where students were able to showcase their work alongside the professionals.
