Scrooge, Eastleigh Operatic and Musical Society Junior Section, Colden Common Community Centre
If you're a miserly old humbug at Christmas time, get some Christmas cheer by seeing the junior section of the Eastleigh Operatic and Musical Society's production of Scrooge.
This is a young company with a wealth of talent. They were well rehearsed and it showed.
Pierre Le Goff as Charles Dickens guided us through 19th-century London with his melodious voice.
Hunchbacked and every bit the miser, Richard Tatnall played a very convincing Scrooge while Young Mr Bissett (Joe Gale) had charisma and energy from the moment he stepped on the stage - great to see in one so young.
The music was good, although a little loud in places. A great show.
