Bouncers, Goody Zombee, Wildern School, Hedge End

It's party season and time to try your luck with the local talent.

Bouncers is a vision of Nineties urban nightlife, where our four lads play over 30 different characters.

This is fast and physical theatre, moving with boundless energy and some beautifully observed comedy.

They directed themselves - "We're the only people we trust" - and found all the laughter and pace in the piece which is also tinged with the darkness of late-night clubbing.

Every character was sharply defined and the boys played the girls with hilarious results.

The mainly young audience loved and laughed at characters they recognised from their own world.

Lucky Eric (Oliver Ashman) balanced the comedy with his stunning speeches on the exploitation all around him.

Lighting and audio (Psu Boyne and Tony Innes) were powerful and well crafted.

Down at the disco is the place to be. Join our local talent on the last part of their fabulous tour.
