DRUGS with a street value of £500,000 were seized after detectives swooped in Southampton.
The huge haul of cocaine, amphetamine and can-nabis was discovered at an address in Breamore Road, Harefield, earlier this week.
Officers based at Bitterne police station made the find when they executed a search warrant. Detectives arrested a 29-year-old man the following day on suspicion of supplying drugs.
It is understood he has since been released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
Officers yesterday executed two search warrants and made two more arrests as part of the same inquiry.
Police confirmed raids had taken place at one property in the Eastleigh area and a second in Southampton.
Two men aged 29 and 30 were arrested and were helping detectives with inquiries.
One man was being questioned at Bitterne police station while a second was in custody at Eastleigh.
Today Det Insp Richard Pearson, head of Bitterne CID, said: "Police in Southampton are determined to deal firmly with those involved in drug trafficking."
A 29-year-old man was charged last night with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs. He was due to appear before Southampton magistrates today.
