Winchester's South African player Jill Field could be heading for a county place if she continues her excellent run of form in the Hampshire Ladies Super League South.
Field heads the Ladies Super League South averages and has only once this season fallen below an average of 18 per dart.
In the last two weeks, Field has beaten Jenny Fenton with a 20-plus average and this week finished with close to 21 as Winchester went four points clear at the top of the Sunday division.
Jenny Fenton had the top average in the latest round of matches, hitting 23.48. There were also maximums for Mandy Keith and Jean Penn.
Bishops Waltham Men's Winter League
The Cricketers won their first game for 24 weeks by beating Salterns 6-3 - and with seven more maximums hit around the league, there could be a new record set for the season, which has yet to reach halfway.
The tally is now 55 with Kenny Wright (Bishops Waltham SC), Pete Collins (Wheatsheaf A), Steve Perren (Hedge End B), Ian Read, Rob Mawson, Colin White (White Swan) and Pete Harvey (Wheatsheaf B) all hitting the mark this time.
In fact officials believe that the last four maximums, that all came in one match is believed to be a league record in its own right. Three came from White Swan and the fourth from opponents Wheatsheaf B.
Anthony Whitcher warmed up for the county weekend with a 12-darter and the top finish came from Kevin Vidler with 118, just ahead of the 114 by John Farmer.
