CAROL singers and pupils will join Isle of Wight councillors in the council chamber on December 11.
The singers will be from Meadowbrook in Ryde - a day service for adults with learning difficulties one of the nominated charities of council chairman Councillor Heather Humby, pictured.
The children will be from Summerfield Primary School in Newport, where councillor, Andrew Mellow, is a governor.
The singers, comprising five clients and two staff, will stage a short concert with many seasonal favourites.
Everyone will be invited to take part in the singing and some items will be accompanied by Makaton sign language.
Also present will be the 14 pupils of the newly formed school council at Summerfield Primary School in Newport, who asked to find out how their council works.
They will be accompanied by Summerfield's head teacher, Alistair Wilbee. Before leaving County Hall, they will have refreshments in the chairman's room.
