COSMETICS customers at a Hampshire department store discovered all they need to know to look great for the party season at a charity pampering evening.
Loyal shoppers at Debenhams in Southampton helped to raise £1,000 for cardiac charity Wessex Heartbeat at the Celebration of Beauty event.
Debenhams sold 500 tickets - priced at £2 each - for the evening, with each customer automatically entered into a tombola to win prizes including alcohol and beauty products.
Staff at the store dressed in eveningwear, there were Christmas party makeovers and food and drink on offer.
All money raised went to Wessex Heartbeat, which supports the cardiac unit at Southampton General Hospital.
Debenhams sales manager Lena Morgan said: "It was a chance to look at all the new Christmas gifts and try out some Christmas party looks. The whole evening was for Christmas and really to raise £1,000 for Wessex Heartbeat.
"We'd do anything for Heartbeat - it's a charity we work really hard for."
Debenhams raised £500 for Heartbeat at its first Celebration of Beauty event in May.
