A SPARKLING set of results has helped to propel a Chandler's Ford school into Hampshire's top 20 league of best performing schools.
Knightwood Primary came close to sweeping the board by chalking up a 100 per cent success rate at target Level 4 for English and science and scoring 94 per cent for maths.
The school on the giant Knightwood Estate came in 16th place after 31 ten to 11 year-olds were assessed in the core subjects.
Knightwood head teacher Diane Smith said: "I am extremely pleased that the hard work of the children is recognised in the results they achieved.
"It is a developing school. We did not do that well last year and we are building on solid foundations."
Schools across Eastleigh and Chandler's Ford fared well as Hampshire schools have shone in the primary school league tables released today.
Staff and pupils at Scantabout Primary were also celebrating after their school came 27th in the academic rankings by scoring 100 per cent in science, 94 per cent in maths and 91 per cent in English.
