UPPER Clatford parish councillors were joined by representatives of the village hall and May fair committees when they planted an oak tree in the village to commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
Chairman of Upper Clatford parish council, Cllr David Weston, gave a short speech looking back over the jubilee year and the many successful village events, including the street party in June. He thanked the village organisations for their contributions to the tree-planting effort.
