PRIMARY schools in the New Forest are celebrating today after achieving outstanding results in new league tables.
They show that many schools in the Forest have gained excellent marks while others have shown a dramatic improvement on previous years.
The tables tell parents how many pupils in each school have achieved target level four in English, maths and science.
Outstanding performers include Hale Primary School, near Fording-bridge, which has gained 100 per cent success in all three subjects.
Our Lady and St Joseph Primary in Lymington also got full marks across the board.
Elsewhere, Milford-on-Sea Primary managed 89 per cent in English, 96 per cent in maths and 98 per cent in science.
Abbotswood Junior School in Totton achieved 71 per cent in English and 72 per cent in maths. Nearby Calmore Junior School is celebrating 79 per cent in English and 88 per cent in science.
Hythe Primary managed 74 per cent in English and 72 per cent in science, but only 55 per cent in maths.
