ROCK bottom Birmingham Barons proved no match for Basingstoke Buffalo as they cruised to an emphatic 12-1 win.
Still unbeaten in the league, it took Buffalo just 51 seconds to score when Ryan Cathcart and Rob Etheridge assisted man-of-the-match Darren Elliott.
The only low point of the night came when James Broadhurst was taken off with a dislocated shoulder.

Buffalo now have a 12-point lead at the top of the ENL Southern League and are only five away from 100 league goals this season. They will be in action against Peterborough Islanders at the Basingstoke Ice Rink on Sunday, December 8 (6:30pm face off).
