Lymington & NM 10 ,Whitchurch United 0
THE gap in class between basement boys Whitchurch United and title-chasing Lymington & NM in the JWL told in Tuesday night's 10-0 rout by the New Forest club - the heaviest defeat Whitchurch have suffered since they joined the JWL.
Whitchurch, struggling to put out a side had only 10 players, were no match for a Lymington & NM outfit needed the three points to leap frog Eastleigh and take over top spot in the league. Whitchurch boss Brian Drury said: "We just could not deal with them at set pieces and eight of their goals came from either corners or free kicks,"
He added that those players that did bother to turn up deserve some credit.but when teams go to places like Lymington with a side containing five reserves then they've got to expect the worse
Whitchurch United (5-4-1): Smalley; Restell, Morris, Hack, Bowden; Alex Iddles, Mark Drury, Pitts, Chris Iddles; Odey.
