A 90-year-old woman was robbed in a Southampton street by child she said was aged about nine years.
The pensioner, who suffered a broken wrist, is being treated in Southampton General Hospital.
After shopping at Sains-bury's in Shirley, the victim was pushed to the ground at the junction of Waterhouse Lane and Endeavour Close at 4.30pm yesterday.
Her attacker - whom she described as aged about nine or ten, white with short hair and wearing a jumper - fled with her purse containing £15.
