SITCOM star-cum-musical mainstay Paul Nicholas returns to The Mayflower next year in Fiddler on the Roof.
The popular actor, best known for his role in the Eighties TV hit Just Good Friends, can be seen at the Southampton theatre from April 15-19.
Set in a turn-of-the-century peasant Jewish village in Czarist Russia, Fiddler on the Roof tells the story of a poor milkman, Tevye (Nicholas), who schemes to marry off his five daughters according to his family's traditions. Songs include Tradition, Matchmaker, Matchmaker and If I Were a Rich Man.
