A public question-time on Iraq will take place in the Milner Hall, Winchester, on Saturday, December 7th.
BBC Radio 4 journalist, Jenny Cuffe, will chair the meeting, which will address questions like how the UK is involved in the Middle East? What's going on in Iraq today? Why might the US and UK want to go to war with Iraq?
Bill Carden, a former ambassador to Israel, will give an historical perspective, Chris Doyle, of the Council for the Advancement of Arab-British Understanding, will speak on the present situation and Dr Judith Cook will talk on the likely medical and environmental effects of a war on Iraq.
After an interval, the Bishop of Winchester, the Rt Revd Michael Scott-Joynt, will chair questions. The meeting starts at 2pm.
