Police hunting three men who bungled a raid on Twyford post office near Winchester have issued camera stills of two males they want to interview.
Detective Inspector Bob Maker said: "They weren't familiar to the staff, and their description is very, very similar to the people who carried out the attack."
DI Maker wants the men to come forward so they can be eliminated from police enquiries.
The stills have been taken from CCTV footage inside Twyford post office the day before the raid on Tuesday, November 19th.
Three hooded men burst into the store at 7pm, and were tackled by an off-duty staff member, who was struck on the head with a weapon.
The employee was treated at Winchester's Royal Hampshire County Hospital, and allowed home the same night.
The raiders fled the post office, making their getaway in a small red car and headed towards Morestead.
Detectives believe the Twyford gang is also responsible for a failed break-in the same night at the Spring Lane Stores in Colden Common near Winchester.
