=High-flying Hamble ASSC clamber over BAT into the dizzy heights of tenth spot after napping Blackfield & Langley 5-1.
"We'll be getting a nosebleed soon," smiled ASSC manager Larry Clay. "We've played very well again and could have scored even more goals. Apart from the Swanage game last season, when was the last time Hamble scored five goals?
"I've got a very promising, young side here which I need to keep together. Jamie Musslewhite played an hour today with seven stitches in his leg and we've had all sorts of seven-day approaches for him but he, and some other lads, are more than happy to stay here at the moment," confirmed Clay.
Louis Langdown smacked home an 11th-minute penalty after he was brought down but Blackfield equalised eight minutes later with a well-worked Steve Wheatland goal.
Steve Whitcher netted either side of half-time to put the Planemakers 3-1 up before Robbie Ackroyd and a first-ever JWL goal from captain Joe Partridge completed the scoreline. ASSC's Paul Miles was later red-carded for the professional foul that led to Wheatland's spot-kick being superbly saved by Pete Harris.
