THE police are appealing for information on three men they want to interview regarding an attempted robbery in Marks and Spencer last Tuesday.
The incident occurred about 3.50pm in the store in Basingstoke town centre. Two men are said to have distracted a cashier while a third tried to prise open an adjacent till with a metal bar.
The three males pictured below were caught on camera within the vicinity of the incident and the police would like to interview them.
The first is described as Afro-Caribbean, aged 25 to 30-years-old, with black hair and a yellow hat.
The second man was white, 20 to 25 years, with cropped dark brown hair and a beard. He wore a blue jumper.
The last man was also white, aged 25 to 30, had cropped dark brown hair, was of a stocky build and wore a hooded top. He had a gold band on his wedding ring finger.
