Fareham's Pete Wood nailed Whitchurch firmly to the foot of the table with a stunning nine-minute hat-trick inside the opening 20 minutes of their 3-0 win at Longmeadow.
Wood netted his first from the penalty spot on ten minutes after Phil Roscoe had been brought down, then he spectacularly volleyed in Lloyd Mitchell's cross before wrapping up his second treble in two weeks with a quickly-taken free-kick.
"We are a very happy camp and Pete took his hat-trick very well and those early goals certainly helped to kill the game off. The only down side is that Floyd Hamoudu has taken a knock on his knee," said Fareham manager Jon Gittens.
