THE great Grease revival is continuing at a Hampshire school hall this week.
Just days after the Seventies blockbuster film was given a television re-run and a reunion of its stars, pupils at Hardley School near Fawley are performing their own musical version. With a cast of 70, it is a major team effort between the school's music and drama, art and technical departments and all the sets have been made at the school.
The age of the cast ranges from 13 to 18. Teacher Kim Green, who is directing the production, said: "They are a great bunch and they have all worked very hard."
The role of Sandy, played in the film by Olivia Newton-John, is being played by Carlie Nicholas, while Sean Hilton has taken on the part of Danny, played in the film by John Travolta.
The Pink Ladies' jackets were made by Caroline Lloyd, who is setting up a fashion business in the area.
