It is very much time for both Havant and Basingstoke to put their recent poor runs behind them, but they will have to reset the trend of National League Division Three South and win away from home.
Very few sides manage this feat, but Havant, who have not won in four of their last five games, have the opportunity of recording a second league double and stealing a march on their hosts, Old Colfeians.
Both sides have ten points with the London side three places below on points difference, but that could all change and the Hooks Lane side begin to slide down the table should they fail again.
They travel to Eltham without flanker Dave Archer, while backs Anton Petzer and Steve Claffey both face late fitness tests to ascertain their progress after knocks in last week's disappointing home reverse to Redruth.
Colfs shaded their last league game at Basingstoke, thanks to a late charge-down, and Havant are aware they are riding high with three wins on the trot. Coach Dave Cook knows that his side are very capable of returning to winning ways.
"We do not become a bad side overnight, and the players who were winning a few weeks ago do not become bad players overnight either. We have a great determination in the camp and that will help us pick up the points again."
The hosts will be without one of their players, Stephen Corlett, for the game as he has been suspended by the RFU for one game after receiving three yellow cards in the space of the last twelve months.
Basingstoke are also in desperate need of a win as they dropped to third-bottom last week and they will look to continue Westcombe Park's recent indifferent run by lifting the points.
The Kent side were hammered by Old Patesians just six days ago so Ian Calder's side could take advantage of that, but they are still minus leading try scorer Fraser Jones and fire strikers and Army/Navy replacements Barry Kirwan, Rafer Joseph, Gareth Jones and Neil Young.
Yann Cullum holds his place on the wing after impressing, while Robbie Northcote stays on the bench. Nigel Hooker's back keeps him on the sidelines but Phil Della-Savina returns.
"It's a weird league this one, with any side on their day capable of winning. Hopefully we can take a lot of positives from last week's narrow defeat and build on this week," said Calder.
