RIDES on Father Christmas' sleigh will be the highlight at Whitchurch Primary School's Christmas Fayre tomorrow.
And for pupils William Cole, aged eight, Gaby Kelly, aged nine, Daisy Collis, aged four, and five-year-old Francis Hutchings the afternoon offers the chance to see their artwork in print after winning a competition to design the front cover of the fayre programme.
The fayre will be held in the main hall of the Daniel Road school from 2pm and will include Santa's Grotto, a tombola, spin the wheel, and face painting and crafts for the youngsters. The Toy Cupboard from Winchester will be running a toy stall.
Maxine Rees, chairman of the school's parent teacher association FOWPS (Friends of Whitchurch Primary School), said: "We are grateful for those parents who have already agreed to lend a hand on the day and would welcome any other offers of help."
