BUDDY is a sensational show and the celebration of the life of a much-loved singer and songwriter whose influence is acknowledged by the Beatles, Elton John and the Hollies.
The sheer energy of a Buddy Holly performance is captured, with the audience experiencing, as though live, rock 'n' roll concerts of the 50s.
The period from Buddy's early confrontations with the music industry, until the height of his fame and untimely death, is less than three years. In this time he produced such phenomenal success as That'll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Raining in My Heart and a mass of others which are performed almost non-stop throughout the evening culminating in a roof-raising reconstruction of the final concert in Clear Lake.
The audience of all ages danced and sang ensuring that Buddy's memory, 43 years after his death, will Not Fade Away.
