SPACE at the new Basepoint Enterprise Centre in Eastleigh continues following completion of the development.
Agents Young & Butt and Primmer Olds are now handling the letting of units on the development.
The scheme is located in the centre of Southampton adjacent to the Itchen Toll Bridge just off Albert Road and Central Bridge Road. Comprising 82 light industrial business units and office suites, accommodation is available on very flexible easy-in, easy-out terms with occupation available within a day while also offering additional facilities and services such as reception, meeting rooms and secretarial back-up.
Jerry Vigus, business space surveyor at Young & Butt, comments: "Basepoint Southampton offers total flexibility. Business has scope to occupy an industrial unit or office suite and there is no fixed length of lease. This gets companies away from a long-lease commitment." He continued: "It's just right for new business in Southampton and provides complete versatility with units available from 200 sq ft to 775 sq ft. "
He said the development has proved to be very successful with a high level of inquiries before the scheme even opened.
"This has led to a number being converted into lettings and the scheme is already 30 per cent let or under offer," he said.
Basepoint Enterprise Centre was co-ordinated and funded by Southampton City Council, Southampton Regeneration Partnership, Southampton Institute and The Southampton Business School together with Basepoint Enterprise Centres. The scheme also benefits from a caf as well as a crche on site.
