Three into one does go according to property solutions provider Rok which has just started work on a single new corporate headquarters for a rapidly expanding Petersfield company currently operating out of three separate units.
The company, test and inspections specialist DiagnoSYS, will be moving just across the road from Petersfield Industrial Estate to the last available site on Vision Park being developed by Southampton-based City Estates, part of the Rok group.
City Estates is using another Rok company, Rokbuild of Eastleigh, to construct the £1m, two-storey head office, which will offer around 20,000 sq ft of office and workshop accommodation. Rokbuild has just started work on preparing the site for construction and has until June to complete the contract. The new building, which will be visible from the A3M, will be taken on a 20-year lease from City Estates.
Tim Titheridge, MD of City Estates, said: "We are delighted to be providing a solution for this progressive company and particularly pleased that a building of this quality should be our first venture in Petersfield."
DiagnoSYS MD David Cawkell said the development would enable all his company's present facilities to be located in one purpose built hi-tech building that would enhance its operations for further growth. DiagnoSYS recently acquired the Schlumberger board and protocol test business, which has given it a global platform for its services with operations around the world.
Rokbuild is no stranger to Petersfield as it is currently building eight new homes in Mornington Road, Bordon under a negotiated contract with the town's Drum Housing Group.
