BARTON were the winners of the eighth annual rally hosted by the New Forest Club at Lyndhurst.
A dozen clubs entered eight-strong teams for the Portland Management Colsultants-sponsored event involving women golfers from in and around the New Forest.
At the final count Barton on Sea (219 points) got home by ten points from Bramshaw.
Special awards went to Burley's Barbara Nobbs for nearest the pin and Chilworth's Pauline Ward (third hole) and Mo Jordon (17th).
Neil Archer, a member of Basingstoke Golf Club, is the proud owner of a new set of Titleist DCI 822 irons after winning the Titleist-sponsored competition that ran at Hampshire PGA Pro-Am tournaments throughout the summer months.
Over 4,000 amateurs took part in Hampshire PGA Pro-Am tournaments this year and Neil's entry was the first drawn out of the hat when the Titleist competition closed at the end of October.
