Winchester get back into league action tomorrow with a vital game against fellow strugglers Harlow at Nuns Road.
Last weekend's scheduled match at Haywards Heath was called off because of a waterlogged ground, while Harlow gained a surprise home win over Hertford.
With up to five teams to be relegated at the end of the season, tomorrow's game is a 'must win' for Winchester.
Head coach Mike Marchant is still without several key players, including skipper Richard Knight. But he's confident the team can pull out of trouble.
"We've lost three games by eight points or less and might have won them all," he said.
"But we have a great spirit in the camp and although we don't have the financial resources of some of our opponents, I hope we have enough about us to stay in this league."
With matches against Cheshunt, Canterbury and the return with Harlow coming up in the next three weeks, it's an important period to start bringing that hope towards fruition.
