RETIRED businessman, Brian Lawrence, is £2,000 richer this week after winning The Daily Echo's "Find the Ball" competition.
Mr Lawrence retired 15-years ago and has spent most of his time since sailing his 24ft yacht Llewellyn from its berth at Hythe Marina.
Mr Lawrence, 66, of Hythe Marina Village, also enjoys eating out, travelling and visiting the theatre.
He has been playing the competition for a number of years but this is his first big win. He said: "It's better than nothing isn't it."
Mr Lawrence is divorced and has two grown-up children as well as three grandchildren.
He said he did not know what he planned to spend his winnings on just yet.
Don't forget to buy your copy of The Daily Echo this Saturday to stand a chance of winning the super jackpot prize which this week stands at £28,000 or the runner-up prize of £2,100.
