The New Forest is full of ponies and deer,
It makes me happy when I come here.
I like to walk in the heather,
Will we be lucky with the weather?
We take a picnic and some cakes,
Better watch out for the poisonous snakes.
The big trees climb higher and higher,
I hope there won't be a forest fire!
Henry Rolleston, aged three, Lyndhurst.
