STAFF at Cheltenham and Gloucester's investment centre at Fareham were in the pink to raise a bumper sum for a cancer charity.
In support of breast cancer awareness month, staff dressed in pink on one day and paid a minimum of £1 for the privilege. They raised a total of £l,753.
John King, C&G's head of investment, said: "The last Friday in each month is a casual dress day, but on four occasions throughout the year we are delighted to pay for the privilege and raise money for charity.
"We try and identify charities that will appeal to the majority of our staff - and on this occasion we selected Cancer Research UK.
"For the first time C&G branches across the country have also joined in the event, but instead of dressing down, dressed with a hint of pink."
