YOUNGSTERS came face to face with Father Christmas at a charity Christmas Fair in Romsey at the weekend.
The event, which was opened by Test Valley Mayor Tony Gentle and attended by deputy mayor Mike Curtis, saw more than 20 different charities squeeze their stalls into the Crossfield Hall, on Broadwater Road. While parents browsed, Santa was in his grotto dishing out presents to queues of excited children. It is not yet known how much was raised by the charities.
