Bishopstoke Parish Council has agreed a precept of £40,000 for the 2003/04 financial year.
Next year's charge to council tax payers for parish council services will be a rise of £1,000 over the current year and is in line with inflation.
It is thought the Bishopstoke precept will be the lowest of town and parish councils in the Eastleigh borough.
