CHILDREN at a Whiteley Pre-School can look forward to new play equipment thanks to a £750 community grant from Fareham council.
Supervisor Penny Redwood said she was delighted with the money, which will be used to improve the facilities for the 20 children who turn up every day.
"We are very pleased. It is going to make a big difference to us," she added.
Mrs Redwood is planning to expand the three-month-old pre-school at Whiteley Community Centre after Christmas in order to cater for more children aged two to four.
