AN UNUSUAL exhibition is being staged in Southampton allowing visitors to get to grips with human building blocks.
The blocks in question are bones - and thousands of them.
The exhibition, called Absolutely Fibulas, has been designed as a non-gruesome family exhibition that is aimed more at educational fun than shock tactics.
Visitors get the chance to get their hands on real bones with informative displays demon-
strating how bones form, heal and
last. Other attractions include a human jigsaw, fossils and bogus bones.
For those hankering after something a bit more squeamish, there is also a display of rubber innards demonstrating how things fit together inside the body.
The free exhibition runs until Monday December 16 at the Archaeology Museum on Winkle Street next to the Town Quay.
