THE sound of Wales visits Winchester tonight in the shape of Crasdant.
Crasdant are four of Wales' most outstanding musicians, all of whom have fine solo careers.
They formed Crasdant four years ago, aiming to place traditional Welsh music well and truly on the map.
Bafta award-winning composer Robin Huw Bowen provides the lead playing the Welsh harp and triple harp, while the melodies are carried by the fiddle and flutes of Stephen Rees and Andy McLauchlin.
Their sound is complemented by the weaving guitar work of Huw Williams who has been know to step-dance in traditional Welsh clogs.
The band have spent the year touring throughout North America and now take their artistry and Welsh humour around the UK.
Tower Arts Centre, Winchester November 15. Tickets: £7.50 Box Office: 01962 877049
