DUE to an misunderstanding an incorrect result was received by the HSA Youth League last week in the under-12's section with Castledown being adjudged 7-2 victors at league leaders Salisbury when in fact the home side won the game to extend their unbeaten run to eight matches. The result was received in good faith and the league would like to apologise to all concerned.

It's tight at the top of the under-11 section after two of the top three were beaten. Upper Clatford surrendered top spot to South Wonston after losing to them 1-0 and Vernham Dean leapt into second spot with their 2-0 home win against third-in-the-table Broughton 'A'.
Broughton 'B' also had a day they will want to forget as they crashed 14-1 against Worthies and pointless Clarendon also lost 3-0 against fellow strugglers Lyndhurst.
In the mini leagues it was a clash of the giants in the under-10's first division with Andover NS gaining a 3-1 triumph over nearest rivals Clarendon to open a three-point lead at the top of the table and also have a game in hand on the Tidworth side.
In the under-10's second division Test Valley kept within sight of the leaders following a 3-0 win against bottom club Porton and Whitchurch remain third after also winning 3-0 against Lyndhurst.
The first division in the under-9's league has been dominated from the start by Bill Fluen's Upper Clatford 'A' and they are now unbeaten in six matches following a close 2-1 away win at Worthies. League stalwart Jason Holmes will also have been delighted after his Test Valley team ran out 4-0 victors in the bottom-of-the-table battle with Whitchurch.
