Trojans remain undefeated and top of the Hampshire/Surrey Regional League - thanks to a late equaliser from Greg Marsden which saved their bacon at London Edwardians.
The Stoneham club's five-match winning sequence was under threat with fourth-from-bottom Edwardians leading 2-1 five minutes from the end.
But Marsden saved the day when he rifled a reverse stick shot past the static Edwardians 'keeper - before setting off on an amusing corner-post style celebration.
Trojans, whose lead at the top has been cut to two points following Bournemouth's 2-1 win at Basingstoke, were originally 2-0 down inside the opening ten minutes.
"We struggled to get to grips with things on a very tight Astroturf surface, which was rather oddly located under one of the M40 bridges," confessed skipper Campbell Williams. "They got their first goal on the rebound from a short corner, and the second as a result of some sloppy marking."
But, once they became accustomed to the pitch and surrounds, Trojans began to pull the strings and cut the deficit with a goal by Daily Echo Player of the Month Simon Lucas.
Trojans dominated territorial pressure after the break, but found it difficult to get round the back of the Edwardians defence on the small pitch.
"We spurned chance after chance before Greg got that equaliser," Williams added.
Basement boys Andover crashed to a sixth successive defeat, losing 4-2 to Epsom at Chalton, while Winchester were hit for six by third-placed Barnes in Middlesex.
Hamble Old Boys shared the spoils with draw specialists Reigate Priory, who forced their fourth draw in six matches.
Seventh-placed Hamble had enough chances to have established a lead by the break, but they paid the penalty when Nick Hancock gave Reigate the lead after a mix-up in the Old Boys defence.
Hamble were quick to equalise - Dave Foster scoring after Duncan Marsh had forced a short corner.
"It was a case of two points dropped rather than one point gained," mused captain Paul Barber.
"Although Reigate are a decent side and have had some good draws previously, these are the sorts of games we should win if are going to climb up the table."
