A 3-1 defeat by Weymouth at the Sports Centre has left Southampton six points adrift at the top of the Hampshire League, Division 1.

Southampton University went down 3-0 to newly-promoted Portsmouth & Southsea, but goal-happy Division 2 pace-setters Fordingbridge slammed Farnborough 9-0.
The Turks, edged out of the promotion place by Salisbury last season, share the 12-point top spot with Gosport and United Services, who crashed 4-0 to Old Edwardians.
Southampton II lie bottom of the Regional Second XI table after a 3-2 defeat at Oxted, while Trojans II collapsed 4-1 against London Edwardians.
