And I have known a few.

I loved you from the very start

And think the world of you.

Mere words cannot describe my thoughts:

You set my soul aglow:

I love you now as I did before,

All those years ago.

We've travelled far along the path:

You are the perfect friend;

We've shared the tears and had a laugh

In search of rainbow's end.

And if you ask me why I feel

Our gentle passions flow,

I'd have to say you really have
