EXPANDING Southampton company Cleanfresh has launched a new maid service and is to recruit more staff just three months after leaving city centre offices for larger shop-front premises in Upper Shirley.
It has already taken on its first maids to operate the new service, and if business grows as forecast it will be signing on more in the coming weeks.
"This proud moment doesn't come a day too soon,'' said managing director Dean Kavanagh. "Interest for our superior maid service has been quite intense. We have literally taken hundreds of enquiries.''
Cleanfresh's maid service has been set up to meet individual requirements of customers with three different levels of cleaning depending on customer needs - a standard clean, a superior clean and a top-to-toe spring clean.
"We can be flexible with special bespoke cleans to meet certain customer needs,'' said Mr Kavanagh.
He says the launch of the maid service is designed for professionals who leave home early in the morning and return late in the evening, or for those just looking to increase their leisure time and quality of life. We also provide service for the elderly who are unable to move around as they once did.
"At the end of the day our maids are at your service, whatever your needs or requirements. They are there for everyone. Cleanfresh Maids love the jobs you hate.''
He has introduced the service with promotional discounts of up to 50 per cent on spring cleans and ten per cent on other cleaning starting immediately and running until December 23.
"On our Fabricare division we are offering 50 per cent discounts on all work carried out for the professional cleaning of carpets, upholstery and curtains and this will run until the end of November 2002.
Mr Kavangh said: "We are setting new standards for the cleaning industry. Along with business development manager Simon Whittle, Cleanfresh will be opening their Bournemouth office in the early part of next year.
"But the expansion doesn't stop there as we have further ambitions to open another three offices along the south coast in the next 18 months. Cleanfresh is leading and others are following."
