Eastleigh (Fleming Park) fielded a weakened side in the second round of their Speedo League campaign at the newly-opened Aquadrome in Basingstoke.
Predictably, it was in the 9-11 years age group where the points scoring was highest.
There were individual wins for Oliver Summers in the 50m freestyle, where for the second successive time he broke 30 seconds (29.71pb), Sonny Shepherd in the 50m breaststroke and Sebastian Willcocks in the 50m butterfly.
Robert Crook gained five points in the 50m backstroke and joined the other boys to complete a relay double, where they recorded a freestyle time of 58.71.
Alexandra Warren, 11, won the 50m breaststroke, while Nicola Gentles took second in the 50m freestyle and the U14s 100m breaststroke.
Joshua Willcocks won the U14s 100m freestyle and was second in the 100m butterfly. In the same age group, Mary Gilbert won her 100m butterfly race.
Robert Gilbert made it a family double with a win in the U16s backstroke in a personal best of 1:09.47.
While the girls had no individual wins in this age group, Kelly Parkhouse, Lucie Newbegin, Samantha Knight and Rebecca Pritchard triumphed in the medley relay.
In the open age group, highlights were a win in the 100m backstroke for David Laurie and a second place in the 100m butterfly for Natasha Smith.
By the last two races Eastleigh had just edged ahead of Chesham into third position.
The ladies team finished in fourth place, just one place behind Chesham.
For the men, who gained a clear advantage over Chesham in the early stages of the race, it soon become a race for third with fellow Solent Raiders and Romsey & Totton.
By the last leg Romsey had a slight lead, but it was Eastleigh who finished third.
Overall result: Newbury 225: Basingstoke 219: Eastleigh 196: Chesham 191: Littlehampton 122: Romsey & Totton 93.
