A Southampton woman has completed an epic bicycle ride across Vietnam to raise money for a children's charity.
Former Southampton University student Rachel Burrows has just returned after finishing a ten-day, 420-mile journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi.
Rachel, 24, from Portswood, was part of a 15-strong cycling team drawn together from all over the UK to take on the challenge.
Rachel, from Portswood, has managed to raise £2,000 out of her target £2,300 for the charity Children Nationwide.
She decided to take on the challenge, organised by Discover Adventure, to raise money for the children's charity after seeing her nephew suffer with Sturge-Webber disease, which causes seizures.
Rachel said: "The trip went relatively smoothly although it was quite tiring.
"I'm really grateful to the companies who have sponsored me and helped me to raise this money."
