A spectacular Caribbean cavalcade will be hitting the streets of Eastleigh later this month.
Santa's grand arrival to officially launch Eastleigh's Christmas celebrations will have a Notting Hill Carnival flavour.
Forty members of the Flamboyan Community Association, who regularly star in the capital's famous street carnival, will be taking part in Eastleigh's grand Yuletide parade.
They will escort Santa as he parades through the shopping streets on his sleigh drawn by huskies on Saturday, November 23.
He will be heading for the Swan Shopping Centre where he will be taking up residence in his grotto.
The parade starts at 3.15pm and arrives at the shopping complex at about 4.30pm.
Members of the Flamboyan Community Association want to give two local ten-year-olds - a boy and girl - the opportunity to line up with them and sample the Caribbean carnival atmosphere which has become famous around the world.
With the help of the Daily Echo the Swan Shopping Centre is running a competition to find the lucky two youngsters.
Costumes will be made for them by the Flamboyan Community Association who will also give them tuition before they set off on the parade.
A Swan spokesman said: "It will be a special day for them to remember for many years."
If you would like to be part of the Swan Centre Christmas Parade and are ten years old then send your details to The Swan Shopping Centre, Wells Place, Eastleigh S050 5SF.
Details required are your name, date of birth, address and telephone number and a parent's signature.
